This playlist covers a lot of immediate and spontaneously picked footage contexts, with both cinema films and music videos. In terms of the former, it continues exploring the Polish films of the "communist" era, such as How Far Away from Here, How Near (dir. Tadeusz Konwicki, 1971) and 150 km per hour (dir. Wanda Jakubowska, 1971). As for the latter, it reappropriates selected footage from a few found-footage fan videos to Boards of Canada's songs, as well as the amazing line of videos accompanying Moses Sumney's latest LP grae.
Playlists are gif-able audiovisual collages that result from my queries into music and film. Sometimes incidental and at other times project-oriented, they all share a similar duration, one that would fit a 90-minute cassette tape or, more specifically, its two 45-minute sides, one that could be played at one sitting or entered and exited at any point, without any loss on the plot.
